BELIEFS
We believe that there is only one and true living God, who is the source and sustainer of all things. He has revealed Himself to us in a three fold manner as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
HOLY SCRIPTURE
We believe that the Scriptures, both Old & New Testaments, are the inspired word of God. Free from all error and complete in their revelation, the Scriptures serve as the final authority for the Christian Life and Faith.
MARRIAGE
We believe that marriage is the union of one man and one woman, as ordained by God in Holy Scripture. We further believe that marriage is the foundation of all society and as such it is a holy and honorable estate that is not to be severed or adulterated. We also believe that, marriage serves as the visible symbol of the union that exists between Jesus and his church.
THE KINGDOM
We believe that the Kingdom of God is the rule of God in the heaven and the earth. The Kingdom’s rule begins in the human heart and continues out into every area of life. The church has been called out by God to give expression to the reality of the Kingdom’s presence here on the earth.
THE END
We believe that the end of the age will be marked by the visible and bodily return of the Lord Jesus. At which time the judgement of all humanity will take place, with the righteous being ushered into eternal life and the unrighteous into eternal death.
EVEN SO, COME LORD JESUS!
GO DEEPER
The central objectives of our church is to assist everyone in fostering a deep and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. At the end of the day it will not be about the number of programs we ran, or the amount of money we amassed or the popularity of our events; instead we will be judged on whether we were able to “present everyone perfect in Christ Jesus” (Col.1:28).
From the decision to make Jesus Christ your Lord on to the various paths of spiritual growth, through membership within the local church, faith, prayer, worship, understanding of the word and giving, going deeper with God is the crowning achievement of every believer.
We invite you to take a moment and hear the voice of the Master calling you, even as “Deep calleth unto deep” (Psalm. 42:7).
Making Jesus Personal:
In order to make Jesus personal, you have to make a choice to accept him as your Lord and Savior. This involves the following:
Understand that Jesus can save you from sin:
Because we are all born sinful, we are unable by our own strength and morality-to please a perfect God. However, God sent His Son Jesus as your representative and as your ransom from being captive.
Admit that you have sinned:
This is the prerequisite to accepting Christ. Understand that all have sinned and you need to turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness by repenting of your sins. From the text in Romans 3:23 says “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Profess Jesus as your Savior:
Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Say, “Father in Heaven, I believe that Jesus died for my sins.” And God will impart eternal life to your spirit.
Path to Spiritual Growth:
The path to spiritual growth requires becoming engaged in the practice of the following:
● Increasing in your knowledge and understanding of God’s Word:
1 Peter 2:2
● Increasing in your practice of Christ-like qualities which include;
walking in the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit, praying always
● Increasing in your faith and trust in God
● Increasing in your understanding and practice of Worship
● Decreasing in your frequency and severity of sin.
Everything created by God is designed to grow. Spiritual Growth is becoming more like Jesus Christ. Spiritual Growth is basic to the life of a believer, just as physical growth is to the life of any person. To truly experience spiritual growth we should completely desire to worship Jesus, making him the center of our lives, allow the Holy Spirit to do the work as He pleases, placing our focus on studying the Word and prayer.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world o condemn the world, but to save the world through him”. St. John 3:16-17 (NIV).
